We were in the Protectorate again for Hash 1445, parking this time at the 'Amphitheatre Site', the second site on the right inside. It was a beautiful afternoon, as the runners and walkers headed up the northern cliffs. Your scribes was one of the walking Hares and we paused for the first cheqq on top, with the cars very visible. There was a false trail going west, while the walkers soon found the real trail going east along the cliff edge to the second Czech, just shy of the Camping Site, although we got a wee bit mixed up with lentils from a previous Hash. We then scrambled down onto the wadi floor and into the foothills on the other side, as the runners caught up with us. They ran back to base, talking one hour; we walkers had a third checc in the foothills, before strolling back to the RV, taking around 1 hour 15 mins. The chariots were also visible from the third chekk. Of course it wasn't a case of the walking Hares looking to be punished with down-downs.

Hugh J. Nuss moves into action, punishing the Hares, with your scribe getting a refreshing Pisser.
