The Trail

We were at the Sandbowl/Bicknick Site for Hash 1493 and thanks to Easy Ride Herr for doing the notes. His Excellency Commodore Wesley Hubbard called 10 virgins into the circle, before the trails started: 1.) Nina, the charmante mother of Luc, our Belgian friend, and married; 2.) Roger from Malaysia KL-Hash (a Telecom engineer); 3.) Evet from zee Netherlands (a Turkish tea cooker in Hamsterdam); 4.) Kai from Hamburg-Altoina (Alemanya), a cocaine and marijuana dealer in the logistics business; 5.) Salah from Berlin, nice looking, a very young girl, looking 4 adventure; 6.) Wani from Edmonton/Canada, here coz it's 2 cold now in Canada; 7.) Nathalie from Bremen, a mixture of Germany and France (was born directly on the German-France border 23 years ago, living in Cairo, single!!! and works for organic food at Sekem); 8.) Banana Licker, Atlanta, a friend of Professor Wayne and here in Egypt on vacation); 9.) Bethany, a teacher from Wales; 10) Sarah, a very pretty girl and a student at Cairo University, here for 13 months, single, looking for a nice Hasher...

Only two Hashers were dressed for Halloween. The walk took us northeast and we had to scramble up the big sandbowl, which very tough, but the weather and location was wonderful ya Pasha! Sunny, blue sky, not windy, really a day for making love not war. There were at least 1.5 million stones in strange and curious dimensions like phalluses, hearts, testes, eggs, shells and white snakes. There was this prehistoric wood as well and many strange plants, in the middle of an ocean of brown stones. Gary saw a Tyrannosaurus Rex, that's why everybody walked so fast. The 1st. check consisted of orange lentils designed like a pumpkin (4 zee Halloween) made of orange lentils; many walkers took a shortcut not because of all the stones, no, because of all this prehistoric sheep pooh (määäääääääh), but Stewart really liked it. At the 2^nd cheque, there must have been a ghost, that did that big lump of pooh. After that check, we had a very pleasant walk through a very nice part of the desert, nice valleys, stones - everybody enjoyed it. The run was out of this world, as the runners explained.

Arriving at the RV, the nice red-brown sandbowl, many folks rolled or ran down its sides. Rear Admiral Hubbard started the Circle at 16:25 - everybody said the run was super, but the walk was "dry". The Hares had to drink the first down-down with "Why were they borne so beautiful...", then Vice-Admiral Hubbard gave many thanks to 'Cat and Melly' for organizing the beers today with another down-down, and "Why were they borne so Beautiful..." again. Then all the virgins had to introduce themselves and got chunky down-downs, with Prof. Wayne in full voice. J.P., Jean-Pierre from Brussels, got a down down 'cause the Religious Advisor Määh Stewart listened carefully while J.P. said he önly drinks (H)Einéken. Then Stewart selected Mr Eddy, the cousin of Barack Obama, and this lovely young girl from Lagos, Lulu, who never ran or walked today, as well as Claire, Ted, Kim, Stewart himself for sex in the circle. Kim sang: "A one skin hangs over the fourth skin..." Claire had to drink one more of this nice Sakkara nectar because of her birthday (on 23.10.2008).

Punishment by down-downs followed for not signing in: Useless (again, again and again and still, still!!! with the World War II helmet (he’s been wearing it now for 5 weeks), the Hares, Roger from Malaysia, Kai, the Hamburger, Kathrin Hamilton (ex-wife of George Hamilton, the music erotic artist in the 70s), Joel, Linda, Lauren - they all got: "Happy Birthday" the Hash way. Then followed the naming of charming school directress Julie from Ireland, äh England: proposals were: Ticket Heart, Hash Hustler, Funny Scratcher, Tricky Banana, Pole Dancer, Ever Ready Steady Go, Buy Me And Stop One, Ready Red Queen. Anyway, we settled for Bumble Bee and 'Why was she born so Beautiful?!' Bad Bastard (alias Wai-Ting or Bob) announced the Rehydration Hash on Nov. 7th; "Everybody will be pissed, bring your tent, food for BBQ later, drinks for later). Their will be nice surprises by 7 national tables, plus BBQ and a bonfire at night. Then Bob became very sentimental and explained to us his love, experience and memories of his old parrot from Nigeria who liked to drink with him in old bars around the world.

Useless, Charlotte: we need to hear the joke about this parrot. Because of this naughty parrot, all the Nigerians had to drink a down-down, followed by all the Dutch, Swiss and Irish and Americans. Admiral Hubbard announced a cultural event on Nov. 25th and 26th in Cairo (Zamalek): "The Cairo Choral Society", presented by the American University of Cairo, will start singing pieces by Haydn, Beethoven, Handel & friends on 25th Nov. at 8pm at All Saints Cathedral in Zamalek and on 26th Nov. in the Ewart Hall on the old AUC campus. Entrance is free!! Therefore two girls from the Hash (except Kerstin who was absent today but is the best singer of that Choral) sang for us (Swiss-Sabine and Steffie, 3 Dogs F***ing): "You’ll never Make a Saint of Me...!" (Rolling Stones) or was it "When the Saints go Marching In?"? The choir get an ice-cold down-down, followed by another down-down because of talking too much in the Circle: Dagmar, Kai, Nathalie, Banana Licker, Damian and Gary. Finally, Kenyan Flora sang in the Circle for all of us: ‘Schwing Lowe’. Again a very cool and nice Hash. The On-On was at the Chinese restaurant Shanghai in Maadi. On-On!!
